Leandro Burgdorff

Leandro Burgdorff just finished high school in his hometown of Berlin and is currently preparing to start a bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies and Politics. Thanks to his European-Latin American roots, he soon became interested in multicultural perspectives and different political systems. He is particularly passionate about European issues such as the search for a European identity (e.g. through the Eurovision Song Contest) and the political future of the European Union.

On the wider world stage, Europe appears slow and divided in decision-making. These dangerous shortcomings could lead to a fragmented and weakened future if they remain unresolved. Our answer is clear: We need a united, decisive Europe.
