Responsibility to Protect – Warum das Konzept in Libyen nicht funktioniert

In seinem Artikel vom 4. April schlug Rene Wadlow die Responsibility to Protect (R2P) als Strategie für den Konflikt in Libyen vor, wie sie bereits in der UN Resolution 1973 aufgegriffen wurde. Ziel soll der Waffenstillstand zwischen den Rebellen und Gaddafis Truppen sein. Dieser Artikel diskutiert allerdings nicht die Rechtmäßigkeit einer solchen Intervention, sondern, ob die R2P im Fall Libyen die Proteste mehr eskalieren lässt, als dass sie Demokratisierungsprozesse stärkt.
