Alexander Stubb: Un nouveau visage pour la Finlande

Alexander Stubb devrait être le nouveau président de la République de Finlande, ceci à l’issue d’un second tour serré ayant eu lieu le 11 février dernier. A. Stubb est un homme politique bien connu de la vie politique finlandaise, de centre-droit, résolument pro-européen et pro-occidental, qui a commencé sa carrière politique au Parlement européen. Son adversaire au second tour des présidentielles était Pekka Haavisto, un politicien modéré issu des Verts. Cette année encore, il est arrivé en deuxième position, une troisième fois après avoir perdu déjà deux fois contre Sauli Niinistö, le président actuellement en poste.
