Maram DAOUD is a Syrian political activist working for Human Rights, and MA student in “EU International Relations and Diplomacy” at the College of Europe. In addition to BA in Economics from Damascus University, he holds MAS in International and European Security from both the Geneva Centre for Security Policy (GCSP) and the University of Geneva. His research focused on the unintended consequences of multilateral sanctions on societies in conflict zones. Maram was a researcher at the Scandinavian Institute for Human Rights (SIHR) where he translated books and texts, and conducted researches about human rights, armed-groups, etc.
