As the Conference on the Future of Europe launched in 2021 draws to a close, it remains more than uncertain whether the proposals made by citizens on this occasion will be taken into account. In order to ensure that these proposals do not remain unheeded once again and that leaders translate them into action:
THE EUROPEAN CIVIL SOCIETY CALLS FOR THE STRASBOURG SUMMIT from the 5th to the 8th of May 2022
In order to obtain a sincere and concrete reform of Europe, debates, seminars, workshops, round tables, hackathons, conferences, meetings and festivities open to the greatest number of people fed a program animated by more than thirty European organizations partners of this event among which we find the main youth and pro-European organizations.
Saturday May 7, 2022 will be highlighted by :
- The adoption of a common declaration to European civil society calling on governments to define the follow-up to the Conference on the Future of Europe (2:30 pm - L’Aubette).
- A March for Europe from the Place Kléber at 4pm for a large-scale citizen mobilization in the streets of the European capital towards the European Parliament.
